My 20th Birthday! :)

I still can’t believe that I now reach the age without the “teen” anymore. (But what the heck, my age can still be called “twenteen” right? *wink*)

I’m 20! :) It wasn’t my birthday anymore but I surely had a blast yesterday!

I had no expectations or whatsoever about my birthday. I never had any plan too! Days before my birthday, people were asking me what my plans were for my day, but I never had any answer. Hahaha :) I really don’t know how to spend my day! All I know is I had to go to Katipunan and see my friends. :)

Since it was my birthday, I didn’t go to my internship. Hahahaha. But of course I told them that I would be absent…I just didn’t tell them it’s my birthday. Hahaha

The weirdest thing that I had to do on my birthday was go to the dentist. Yup, I went to the dentist in the morning! Mon mon accompanied me. Hahaha

Mon mon and I went to school and I saw some of my blockmates (surprisingly, because we don’t have summer class). It was nice seeing friends when you want to see them. :)

Anyway, we had lunch at Yellow Cab. My treat! Hahahaha :) There was me, Yumi, Charms, Mon mon, and Nichael. The others can’t join us because of org responsibilities that time. And besides, it wasn’t really planned.

I love my blockmates!!!!!! I was with my blockmates almost the entire day. :) It was nice seeing them again. :) Those I did not see that day just texted me. :) Jun even texted me eventhough he’s in France! Jun, regalo mo sakin! Dapat sa France mo binili ah. Hahaha

Texts just kept on coming the whole day! :) Thanks to soulmate for I think he was partly to blame for that. :) I was awaken several times in the morning like 3 am and 5 am because of those texts (although I immediately went back to sleep). I finally woke up at around 6 am (I think my body clock is now well adjusted to my office hours 8 am – 5:30). There were 13 messages! Weeeeeeeee! :) Thanks guys for staying up so late or for just remembering me at that moment. Hahaha

So what made my day? My day became super special because of the birthday blog. Thanks mon and charms! :) hahahahahaha I wasn’t expecting anything really…but nonetheless, what a pleasant…no, pleasant is not enough…hmm…what a great, thoughtful, super special, super heartwarming surprise! I love you both! BFF nga! Ahahaha :) Thanks for everyone who tagged! :) Thanks rin kambal for trying to get people to post their messages at the tagboard. :)

another entry

i have been writing here and there - stuffs that i have been wanting to blurt out in my blog but i guess God has a way to stop me from making the wrong decisions and maybe in saying things that i will eventually regret later on...

Yes, i have written and tried to write my anger, frustrations and sadness but everytime i try to access my blog or even write, something always come up that i wasn't able to post them. (As you know, it's my habit to write first in MS word.)
So, many entries are just being kept in my desktop.

I also try to stop myself from doing things (and posting stuffs) that will hurt other people. My blog can be accessed by the public and it's not in my principle to intentionally (and even unintentionally, even though sometimes i do) hurt others.

More so, i realized that the more i write about the pain, the more painful it becomes and it lingers... it can really go to depression you know.. i wouldn't want that.
So i am stopping myself from looking back and even from thinking about it.
When i am with friends, i am strong. i feel that i can face whatever news i get.
But when i am alone, i am still wondering why the same reason still makes me cry.

Anyway, what's new with me? just like what Charmie said, i am super busy with my OJT plus my other responsibilities in ANI and COA since Jun is not around.

My OJT is in Ramcar Group of Companies. But i am assigned in the marketing department for Motolite Battery. I feel like a real employee. :) i read the newspaper daily and get relevant news for the company and interpret them so that they will know the impact of the news in company. Now,I am busy making a factbook that they will use in their meetings. So i get GDP, inflation rates, population, number of motorcycles and cars in the Philippines, the sales volume and trend not only here but around Asia as well...i see if there is a trend or when is the business down and why etc..etc. i make charts and tables and interpret the data. i feel that management and economics is not a bad combination as others think. i can really use it in my work.

But my major project is to evaluate their org structure and make recommendations. i think i also have to make a pricing study for them soon.

i am enjoying my work more because of the people. :)

Oh, did i mention that my boss is pretty? :) She's a BAA UP graduate who will be teaching accounting in Ateneo this coming June.

Hi dear readers! Jo is not updating because she's busy with her internship at RAMCAR. Well actually, I just think she's not updating because she can't access blogger in their office. Haha.

1) She goes home really late because of COA meetings. While Jun is enjoying in France, Jo is burdened with lots of COA work. Haha, joke lang Jun!

HS reunion?

namatay yung teacher namin sa HS last week..stroke ata.. So dumalaw kami sa burol nung sunday ng gabi. Nakakatuwa at nakakatawa dahil nagmistulang reunion lang yun ng section namin. hahaha. I mean maraming pumunta talaga. Nakita ko ulit lalo na yung ibang madalang magparamdam. At ang ingay namin!!! Nainis nga ata yung ibang kamag-anak ng namatay dahil ang ingay talaga namin. hahaha. Well, marami na kasing bagong balita at maraming updates ang dapat gawin. Ayun.. hahahaha. Ang ingay talaga! Nakakatuwa kasi kahit ang tagal na nung huli naming pagkikita, andun pa rin talaga yung friendship naming lahat. Andun pa rin yung closeness naming lahat..parang HS ulit. :) Mas nakakatuwa pa dahil hindi lang yung section namin ang parang nag-reunion. Actually, parang Alumni Homecoming kasi pati yung ibang batchmates namin andun saka yung mga alumni. hahaha

pero sobrang natuwa talaga ako kasi andun yung barkada ko nung HS at namiss ko sila... pero sayang kasi hindi kami kumpleto pero ok na rin. 9 kasi kami sa barkada. (actually, we don't call our clique "barkada", we call ourselves as "friends"). Ayun, 6 girls and 3 gays. :) Yup, 3 gays. kaya may pagkabading din ako minsan (o parati? :) haha). Ayun, ang saya! nag-overnight pa kami sa bahay ni Christel. halos walang tulog. :) todo kulitan at kuwentuhan. (pero 5 lang kami nun, 3 girls at 2 gays). Haaaay... i so love my gay friends! :) Todo kuwento sila about their boys. actually, yun yung pinagkuwentuhan namin all night. hahaha. I love them kasi sobrang naiintindihan nila ako..(lalo na what i am going through now.. ). Namiss ko talaga sila! lalo na't sobrang dalang na lang naming mag-usap .. :(

Ayun, so what's new with them? ayun, yung isa naming friend, si Len, nagbreak na sila nung BF niya (mga 1 year naging sila pero yung love story nila ay mula pa 1st yr HS). 1st bf nya yun at sobrang inakala naming lahat na sila na forever.. haaay, kahit pala talaga yung mga taong akala mo na "sila na", pwede pang magbreak.. grabe talaga..

Yung isa, si Lyca, going strong pa rin sila ng bf nya. Medyo long distance relationship yun kasi yung guy sa Bataan nag-aaral na maging seaman. Ngayon naman, aalis na yung barko..parang training naman nila sa ship mismo so long distance relationship na naman..haay.. pero bilib talaga ako sa kanila ah... kasal na ata next. :)

Yung isa kong friend, parang MU sila ng bestfriend niya..pero recently nagdecide silang maging bestfriends na lang talaga... haay.. mga bestfriends nga naman, nagkakadevelopan.

Si suzette naman, happy din with her BF. ayun, nung HS pa siya niligawan nun pero hindi naging sila nun. Last year lang naging sila. Grabe, parang closefriends lang talaga sila before.. hingahan nila ng sama na loob ang isa't isa...tapos ayun.. sila na ngayon.

Yung mga gay friends ko naman..ayun, gay pa rin. hahaha. marami silang boylets.. mukha naman silang happy kaya happy din ako syempre for them. haha. Si kenneth, yung gay kong friend, nagalit siya sa akin dati dahil sa isang lalaki. inagawan ko daw siya. haha

what's new?

I am bored. It’s summer yet I am not doing anything. I am not sure anymore if I am going to have my internship this summer. I now feel that being an Atenean is not enough to land on the job that you like..or at the very least, land any job…. Wait, maybe I am exaggerating a bit.. But when companies do not even call you for testing or interviews, you’ll worry too and think that you are not good enough. Sigh…

So what else? Hmm…can I just say I love my blockmates?? :) I love you guys, really. You are always there especially when I need a shoulder to cry on..or people to cheer me up and crack some jokes I’ve heard a million times before...or have some company in the movies or people to talk to or people I’ll get drunk with and have a joyride to Tagaytay after a finance test… I just love you guys so much. And I am sorry it is only now that I really realize your worth. Anyway, we have a whole year ahead of us... and I am looking forward to another year of laughter and tears with you guys. When I look back at my past years in Ateneo, my most memorable times were those times when I was with you guys.. so THANK YOU. I would like to mention Mon mon and Charms. ..you two are my best friends in college. :)

So there..what else? Hmm.. I can now officially say that I am loveless… loveless?hmm…haven’t been in love..but what I am trying to say is that I am not “in-like” anymore (gets? Hindi in love kasi it was never love to begin with...in-like lang kasi like lang naman..hahahaha)Wala nang special person.. lahat pantay-pantay na. hahaha. Ayun.. but I am happy though. Being single is actually good. Having no special person in your life makes things a lot easier…WAY EASIER THAN YOU COULD IMAGINE.

So ayun.. SAU doesn’t exist anymore. :) Good news huh? :)

vacation?

It’s vacation now. I still can’t believe that my third year in Ateneo is over. I really wanted to make a list of interesting things happened in my junior year; maybe a list of things I’ve learned or teachers that sucked big time or block bonding or Bratz bonding or a list of things I did for the first time (like Dex did) or a to-do list in summer or memorable things (like Cel did) but I can’t think of that right now. My mind is too busy trying to forget or even trying to look back. My head doesn’t even want to look ahead of what would happen in the future.

I am just afraid of looking back to the past and see that everything that I have known, everything I’ve believed in was all a LIE. I am afraid of looking back and see those faces stare at me as if nothing’s wrong. I hate to see the past and its pretensions. I hate to reminisce yesterday and say, “Ah, that’s why”. I hate to say that now every thing is becoming crystal clear. I hate to say that I was wrong. I hate to have regrets.

I just don’t want to take every bit of the truth at the same time. In fact, I can’t. I would be insane. I would be insane if I even try to take all in at the same time. So I am taking my time… Right now I can’t say that I have accepted everything because I can’t. Sometimes it is better to pretend as if everything is okay, as if everything is perfectly normal, that you don’t know that truth. So let me pretend… As I do, do not judge me. I am doing this for the best… I am just waiting for you.

And yes, the truth hurts...definitely. Sometimes it is even unbearable.
