Happy birthday to me?

Nope, it’s not my birthday – at least NOT YET. Well, it’s next Thursday but I still have no plan at all. A friend asked me if I have been celebrating my birthday in the past years and I said NO. Well, I usually not celebrate my birthday in a grand celebration or party if that’s the question. But YES, I do celebrate it in a simple way. I go out with friends (treat them if I have money), spend the entire day like there’s no tomorrow and just have fun, fun, fun.

Last year I had lunch with blockmates and had a trio date with mon mon and charms. The year before that I celebrated it with mel, marc and rb (I think). The year before that, I was with my ANi kids. This year? Hmm.. I have no idea. I remember telling RJ yesterday: “Pwede bang iba na lang mag-isip/mag-asikaso ng gagawin sa birthday ko? Aaatend na lang ako :)”

Sigh.. .if only it can be that simple: other people can think of the fun activities that we will be doing that day and I’ll just be attending and just be clueless about all the fun that I will be having that day. Can that just be my birthday wish? :)

I just want a happy happy birthday, whatever I will be doing or whoever I will be celebrating it with. Thinking about the what-to-do’s makes it stressful. That’s when I feel not celebrating my day at all :p
