on expectations

People usually have high expectations. I don't know why but maybe it is in the very nature of people to hope (or wish) for far greater things than what could possibly happen.

You're lucky if people exceed your expectations but more often than not, they don't. And all you can do is accept the fact that who they are is not exactly who you want to them to be and what they do is not exactly what you want them to do.

Yes, i usually have high hopes for things.

But i always know where and when to draw the line.
