New American Idol

Kris Alenn: the American Idol Season 8 winner.

And I am just SO happy about it :)

No Boundaries: not a great song but the rendition of Kris versus Adam is much much better simply because the song fits Kris better.

Adam Lambert: also a really talented guy (or gay) but his kind of music is not that popular to many. Compared to kris, i think Adam has a more limited kind of audience because not many can appreciate the type of music he offers unlike Kris who is more into the pop and contemporary kind of music.

American Idol

American Idol has been so interesting this year. With the finale coming up next week, the results show this night is the most exciting show ever (at least for the history of American Idol). As I expected, Kris, Danny and Adam are the three guys left standing in the competition.

My favorite is Kris Allen. He is just the prettiest boy/acoustic singer in the competition and the votes from the girls going gaga over him has been his ticket to the top. I hope he stays tonight though a lot of people wanted Danny and Adam for a head-to-head vocal competition because of their vocal ranges and their singing capabilities. Though I agree that Danny and Adam would be a good match for the title, Kris has also been showing superb talent not just in singing songs but in making those songs his own. His acoustic abilities make any heart just melt with his pure and sincere rendition of the song. And i truly believe that he'll sell a million records when he come up with his own album. Maybe he's the next John Mayer :)

trip to pagudpud!

Just came back from Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.

14 hours of travel to the northernmost part of the Philippines!

But it was just SO WORTH IT.

I was present at the SOM-SOSE Graduation last March 27 and it was ahhmm..so boring! haha I do not know who the commencement speaker was but I was not even moved by his speech nor by the speech of the Valedictorian (sorry :p)
